Movement is Life
When our ability to move improves, our quality of life increases. During your physiotherapy session, we will first complete a thorough assessment and then create a plan together that works towards your goals. When working with a physiotherapist you can expect to receive quality care that emphasizes your ability to improve your current condition with a focus on movements that are geared specifically for you.

Treatment Techniques
Every treatment is tailored to the individual. Typically, every treatment will contain some hands on manual therapy techniques as well as therapeutic exercises designed for you. I always answer all your questions and do my best to help you understand what is happening regarding your injury or concern. If beneficial, I may also suggest that we use IMS (Intramuscular Stimulation) as a tool to help relieve pain or reduce muscle tension.
How many physiotherapy treatments?
As you are beginning to realize, this again, depends on the individual. For many concerns, one to three appointments is sufficient for a person to understand how they can best manage or treat their injury. For others (post surgical rehab, for example), a number of physiotherapy sessions over a course of months are beneficial. With every concern, we with come up with a treatment frequency that optimizes your recovery.
